The Beatles' August 23, 1966 performance at Shea Stadium stands among the most celebrated concerts in rock history. Playing before more than 55,000 fans, the concert marked one of the group's final public performances, taking place just six days before their farewell commercial concert at San Francisco's Candlestick Park on August 29, 1966. Following that performance, The Beatles retired from touring to focus exclusively on their groundbreaking studio recordings.
Beautifully presented with the original unused ticket, a reproduction of the famous Sid Bernstein promotional poster, and the signed certificate of authenticity, the display offers an attractive tribute to one of the most significant moments in popular music history.
Very good to fine condition overall. The original ticket, certificate of authenticity, and reproduction poster have not been examined outside of the mat and frame. The display exhibits light expected handling and age wear.
