Early 20th century, the thick hide shield formed into two concave areas, the rear with rattan carrying strap and handle, the top edge pierced with some goat hair remaining, the front painted with triangular and circular devices on a black encrusted ground. Ht. 39, wd. 14 in. Provenance: Private collection, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
