Early 20th C. Reverse painted Directoire shade. Nautical scene with sailboats and seagulls. Acorn pulls. Shade is artist signed: "C. Durand". C. Durand is a pseudonym for Adolph Fredericks who was the head decorator for Pairpoint in the 1920s. Metal dolphin base with bronze finish. Signed Pairpoint. Made in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Shade measures: 16" diameter. Height with shade: 22 1/2". Good condition. Working.
