In a driftwood finish frame measuring: 29 1/2" high x 34 1/2" wide. Sargent was from Newburyport, Massachusetts. He studied under Joseph DeCamp and exhibited at Copley Gallery, Boston; the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, Massachusetts; and the Currier Art Museum, Manchester, New Hampshire. Shows 1955 Boston Arts Festival exhibition label as well as a Newbury Art Association label on verso.Good condition. May need cleaning.
