Mid-Late 12th C. Kashan or Rhages. Ceramic ewer with an indigo glaze. Beak-style spout. Shouldered handle. Globular body. Nodules on the neck are in the style of bronzes of the same era. Painted figures on the body. 11 1/2" high x 7" diameter. Exhibited at the Persian Art Exhibition in New York in 1940.

Provenance: From the collection of Hagop Kevorkian (1872-1962). Ralph Minasian, Director of the Kevorkian Foundation. Given as a gift Ca. 1966 to the current owner. Heavily restored condition.
