Extremely rare, Mr. Peanut tapper made by Old King Cole store displays out of Canton Ohio. This would have been displayed in the store front of a Planters Peanuts store. His arm is mechanical and his cane would tap on the glass to get peoples attention. Any of these are rare, but this is one of only 3 known to exist with this style base. It is believed to be an earlier example with the plastic base. They later went to a ventilated, metal base that was more durable. Because of that, only a few of these have survived. This has been restored and is in perfect working order with original motor. The base has been re-enforced from underneath but you can still see the stamp from Old King Cole. Excellent condition.
