A molded planter in the shape of a playful puppy dog with a distinctive black and white spotted glaze. The foot is not glazed. The base is glazed.
A molded mark on the base reads N.S. Co. CLEVE O USA.
MEASUREMENTS
7 1/2 in (19.0 cm) long x 5 5/8 in (14.3 cm) wide x 4 1/4 in (10.8 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 4.4 oz.
CONDITION
There are rust stains on the base, as well as two hairline cracks that extend from opposite sides of the rim. The cold painting of the eyes and mouth are perfect. It has cleaned up nicely and looks great.
A fun 1950's planter to add to your collection. He is definitely a playful pup.
