The ceramic body is exceptionally light and finely potted, with surface weathering and mineral accretions consistent with long burial. An old handwritten collection label on the base identifies the piece as "Persia," supporting its long-standing attribution. The vessel represents a provincial utilitarian form produced for everyday domestic use in the ancient Iranian world.
