The bowl is done in a very traditional form, all hand hammered and hand chased. There is a band of hand chased decoration around the rim of the bowl. The interior of the bowl has nice visible hand hammering marks, which give the piece an attractive finish. The underside has an inscription of 4 20 4, possibly a date. Above this is a maker's mark which is mostly obscured. This piece has been tested and is guaranteed 850-900 purity silver. The bowl is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no breaks and no repairs. The bowl is about 6 1/2 inches in diameter and stands about 3 1/2 inches tall at the rim. This piece weighs 296.7 grams or 10.5 regular ounces.
