This fabulous mid 19th-century antique hand-blown glass apothecary jar stands over 9" tall including its stopper, has a faceted neck & shoulders, as well as side indentations for easy handling.

The antique pharmacy bottle would make a unique and interesting decor accent on a shelf or table.

The bottle has its original label identifying that the jar once held aqua fontana which is Latin for spring water.

The previous owner wrote "circa 1850" as well as a series of numbers on the glass stopper, and number the bottle "1" on the bottom as shown.
