Vintage Mexican Hand Carved Floral Frame

Description

All-wood (no gesso) frame, hand carved in Mexico between the 1930s - 1950s. Carvings of flowers and leaves, with decorative flourishes. Finish has gorgeous patina, with traces of metallic gold gilt peeking through a gray painted overwash. This artisan frame is perfect for Vintage or modern artworks. Excellent vintage condition with no damage or issues. This was purchased with a second, larger frame by the same maker, please see my listings for that item.
