A pair of rare large carved solid beechwood, elaborately carved, colored hand-painted and gilded Louis XV style mirrors with excellent proportions, the cresting of a stylized acanthus carved with Rocaille with C-scrolls and S-scrolls decorating the sides and the bottom, the whole with lovely rubbed and burnished surface with strong curved frame enclosure.
