We are selling this great American sentimental double portrait painting. This slightly folky Americana painting features a brother and sister in a vignette with unusual background features. The painting is unsigned but has a inventory/collection number in the lower right hand corner and has an inscription identifying the painter and sitters, the "bergens?"

Condition: Painting has some overpainting. The frame has lots of losses to gilding and gesso.
