This 19th century painting is believed to be a portrait of famed English/American painter Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait probably done in the mid 19th century when he was a young man. It is possible that the painting is by Tait himself but we cannot be certain.

Condition: Painting has been re-lined and re-framed.
