An antique carved gold gilded wood frame with a hand painted tile of The Madonna della Seggiola after Raffaello Sanzio, called Raphael. Raphael is a High Italian Renaissance artist. Executed c. 1513-1514, and housed at the Palazzo Pitti Collection in Florence, Italy.

Frame is finely and delicately carved and gold gilded. Measures 12" high square. Tile diameter is 5 1/2". Great condition for its age. No damage, evidence of a small repair but difficult to see.
