Unlike widely available decorative reprints, this matched pair of vintage Chinese rubbings is hand-executed on traditional xuan (rice) paper using richly applied black ink, gold gilt, and traditional red artist seals. The tonal depth, fiber texture, and presence of calligraphy reflect the artistry of limited studio production - not mass-market replication.

Each piece was professionally framed using archival materials, moire matting, and a gold finial in the shape of traditional Chinese fretwork - a detail often missing from modern presentations.

While mass-produced versions without these artisanal qualities are often listed at similar or even higher prices, this pair offers both authenticity and curatorial elegance, appealing to collectors, designers, and those seeking culturally meaningful art.
