This is a modern impressionistic original oil on board painting by New Jersey artist John Dahl. It is signed "Dahl" in the lower right corner. It is in excellent original condition. The frame is in fine condition with minor, subtle signs of age. When I purchased this nearly 20 years ago in the Gloucester, MA area I was told the artist's first name was John and that it was painted from a local scene. The signature, style, and similarities to works by the artist online seem to support this information I was given. Sight measures 16" x 19 1/2", frame measures 24" x 28" x 1-1/4".
