I love big art but I especially think small art might create more impact on a wall. This depiction of what I think is a sinister child plotting revenge on her babysitter or the Catholic Church is so mysterious and a conversation starter. The matting is in a dark red velvet and frame is painted gold wood from back when they made quality frames. This is an original piece with no date. I'm guessing it's Mid-Century maybe the 60's- 70's. Look up Viola Allen. She's a listed artist from Malibu with varied mediums.
