Much of his early adolescence was spent painting the scenery of the Isle of Capri, an experience that deeply influenced his artistic voice.

At a young age, Camprio traveled to Paris to further his studies at the Academie Carriere and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, where he refined a strong realist sensibility.
