30-03 Gov't caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 78390. The top of the receiver is marked with a Winchester proof mark and the caliber “.30 GOV. '03.” The left side of the receiver is marked with Winchester's address and patent dates. The tang of the receiver is marked with the Winchester logo and Model 1895. Overall, this rifle is in good condition, though the action does stick toward the rear of the cycle. This rifle retains most of its original blued finish throughout. The walnut stock and forend are in good condition, with a few minor nicks and a small crack in the forend at the receiver.
