The left side of the frame is marked in Russian (Tula weapons plant and Emperor Peter the Great), with the date of production 1916, as well as the serial number in front of the cylinder. The right side of the frame is marked with the Russian imperial eagle proof mark. Overall, this revolver is in fair used condition. The left side of the frame shows substantial wear to the original blue finish, as does the barrel. The right side of the frame shows less wear to the finish. The wood grips are in good condition with all of the factory checkering still intact.
