The left side of the receiver is marked with the model “No. 4 Mk I,” the arsenal “Long Branch,” and the date of manufacture “1943.” The left side of the buttstock socket is marked with “England” and the serial number. Overall, this rifle is in good condition, retaining most of its original black finish. The wood is in good condition with a few minor dents and nicks throughout.
