Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a beautiful, large piece featuring the abstract boats Keil is well known for, complete with an American flag. This piece was executed with acrylic on masonite board with a newspaper article serving as the background, and framed.

It is signed "P. Keil" in the lower right corner, and a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
