19th Century Japanese Imari Porcelain Platter. Platter is 15" in length and has a landscape and floral pattern. Plate has vibrant colors of blue, red, green, and yellow against a white background. Imari porcelain, named after the port city of Imari in Japan, became highly prized during the Edo period (17th-19th centuries) and was often exported to Europe, where it influenced Western ceramic designs.
