1933 Victorian style Folk Art soap box / keepsake box composed of an oval wooden lid and box in original green paint. Intricate wood-burning detail present (reminiscent of leather hand-tooling). Paint loss / soiling (particularly to the lid and central design). Remains a nice relic of the age in sound condition. There appears to be soap residue in the interior and a hand carved date of '1933' present to the underside.
