Charles Towne (attributed) circa 1790–1820. Graphite and gray wash landscape drawing depicting rustic scene with pollarded willows, travelers, cottages, and waterways. Monogrammed "C.T." at lower right. The drawings reflect the strong influence of the Dutch landscape tradition as interpreted by late eighteenth-century artists. Excellent condition for age, flocking.
