Title: Pair of Thomas Webb Chrysanthemum Decortaed Scent Bottles
Description: Pair of matching Thomas Webb bridal white satin glass scent bottle, decorated with enamel chrysanthemums. Sampson Mordan silver mounts, London, 1887. The bottles have a surface pattern of arched semi circles, they were made using a ribbed mould which had the pattern cut into their internal surface, which in turn created the pattern in relief on the surface of the glass. Registration marks scratched into the base of each bottle.
Height 14cm / 5.5ins.
