Professionally prepared and presented in an exhibition wooden frame and protected by special non-reflective glass. Overall dimensions: 60 x 24 x 4 cm, total weight: 5.5 kg.
The now extinct Mesosaurus is one of the earliest-known aquatic reptiles, a pioneer of life in freshwater ecosystems. Its slender body, elongated tail, and paddle-like limbs made it perfectly adapted for swimming, and its needle-like teeth indicate a diet primarily consisting of small aquatic prey. As one of the first reptiles to return to an aquatic lifestyle, Mesosaurus plays a key role in understanding the evolution of early reptiles and their adaptations to diverse environments.
