Description
Comes with Two Carts. By J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Ct. - Circa 1906. This appears to be an original, 1st series production of the bank. We come to this conclusion for two reasons: the fine details of the casting and the side accents are painted gold. Second castings of the bank are not finely detailed and their side accents are silver. The painted cart is not authentic, but looks good. To operate, raise the hook at the base of the bank and place a coin at the center of the coin slot. Place Buster Brown's boat at the top of the bank and release it. It travels down the chute, depositing the coin, continues and is caught by the hook, the momentum throwing Buster Brown & Tige out of the boat.
