China Martini was invented in 1887 in the famous Martini & Rossi house in Piessone, in the province of Turin. This aperitif was born from the mixture of the bark of the Cinchona (China Calissaia) and more than 24 herbs and spices. Cinchona is a tree with many virtues which is mainly found in the Andes (Peru, Bolivia). It can also be drunk hot, mixed with warm lemon water.
