Offered in this lot is a highly desirable Walther PPK chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm), manufactured in 1941 and featuring German Eagle/N proof markings and attractive brown Bakelite grips. This exceptionally well-preserved example presents beautifully, retaining an excellent finish with only very minimal signs of use and wear, including light holster wear on the front of the slide. The bore is in great condition with sharp, reflective rifling, and the mechanical action functions smoothly and properly. The pistol appears to fall within the desirable SS contract serial number range, adding considerable collector interest to this already impressive example. While the expected serialization is absent from the front of the slide and the two magazines are non-matching, the inside of the slide is electro-pencil marked 333, corresponding to the final three digits of the pistol's serial number and an interesting feature associated with examples from this contract range. The pistol is accompanied by two magazines and original World War II capture papers, providing an exceptional historical connection and further enhancing the appeal of this outstanding wartime PPK.
