The scope matches the rifle, while the upper portion of the scope mount is modern production. The rifle is fitted with the correct style wooden cheek riser, a defining characteristic of the FN-49 sniper configuration that provided the shooter with proper eye alignment when using the optical sight. The stock remains in very good condition with only light handling marks and bears Farsi markings on the right side that appear to be serial numbers matching both the rifle and scope, an important detail collectors carefully examine when evaluating originality and military configuration.
