Condition Report:

The paint surface appears to be stable overall. Some scattered scuffs and abrasions with associated flecks of paint loss, most notably to the centre of the sky, approximately 3cm from the left side of the lower edge, to the right edge and along the upper edge. Inspection under UV light reveals some areas of retouching, including some possible areas to the sky and along the upper edge, as well some smaller touches of strengthening scattered across the landscape and foreground, including to the centre of the canvas and to the centre left. The work presents a layer of discoloured varnish, surface dirt and scattered stains. Please refer to the additional images for further details.
