Description
Painted in the style of Joseph Mallord William Turner. Turner was a seminal British painter who painted primarily landscapes and marine paintings. He is most know for his remarkable renderings of fog, rain and light, and his work in this area is considered an early precursor to modern landscape abstraction.

Condition Notes: The painting is in very good antique condition. There is very faint craquelure; normal for a painting over 100 years old. A very faint lines runs from the center of the painting to the cliffs midway down on the right hand side. I believe this is an irregularity or small crack in the wood board. The frame is 20th century and has two small repaired holes on the bottom middle where a plaque used to be.

Oil Paint, Wood
