Description
Beautiful large oil or acrylic painting of Venice on stretched canvas. View is looking toward the entrance to the Grand Canal. The bridge at the far right is probably supposed to represent the Rialto Bridge, but it is actually around a curve in the Grand Canal and probably could not be seen from this vantage point. The large dome is the Basilica de Santa Maria della Salute. San Marco is toward the right of the picture. Unpainted areas are sketched in pencil. Not signed or dated.
