Mid Century lithograph print of Raymond de Botton "The Blue Coast"

Stunning abstract seascape framed under matte glass. The matte glass is intentionally made to make the lithograph appear painted & is accented by a slightly golden faux gilded wooden frame with hints of red, black and an interior of blues and greens.

On the back is a card reading: "Raymond de Botton, (Contemporary French), LA MER A CARREAUX (Oil on canvas, 39 7/8" x 39/ 1/4", 81 x 99.7 cm), Collection of William F. Buckley, Jr."

Artist Raymond de Botton was born in 1922 & lived in France, England, & was born in Alexandria, Egypt.

The original oil painting was from the late 60's, early 70's & last sold at Christies New York auction on October, 3 2011 from the estate of William F. Buckley Jr.
