Artist and her family moved from Indiana to Southern California, in 1908, and began study at Otis art Institute, as well as Chicago Art Institute. She was a studio painter as background canvases for MGM Studio, while studied and lived in Beverly Hills. Moved to Corona Del Mar, and later settled in Newport Beach.
