After touring the castles of England in the late 90's I was bent on returning home with an antique that captured my trip. In the Cotswolds I came upon this fantastic portrait of this handsome aristocrat and fell for him. He has been hanging in my home ever since then and it will be like parting with a good friend. If you have a Georgian decor this painting is a must. The provenance of this painting is attached and is dated circa 1820. The painting is in excellent condition. The painting is on canvas and measures 25 inches L x 29 1/2 inches H with frame it is 30 inches L x 35 inches H. It is framed in an antique gold oval frame with beading and scrolling detail.
