This central motif is enclosed by a blue and burgundy checkerboard border. The surrounding field consists of cream-colored fabric with diagonal diamond machine quilting. The outer perimeter includes multiple decorative borders: a row of burgundy flying geese triangles with blue diamond accents at the corners and midpoints, a narrow paisley trim, and a final wide solid burgundy border with scrolling machine quilting. The reverse side is finished with a coordinated dark paisley print fabric. The construction is a combination of machine piecing and machine quilting.
