FYI:
Most Blenko glass, especially from the 1940s to 1970s, is transparent. This piece is crystal clear. Genuine Blenko glass is hand-blown, which leaves a pontil mark on the bottom of the piece. This mark is usually irregular, and indicates where the glass broke off from the pontil rod. Please see the last image. Blenko glass is known for its distinctive, bold, and modernist shapes and patterns.
Blenko glass often has a sticker on the bottom that says "hand-made". The sticker can be removed over time. The stopper is sandblasted to fit the decanter. For identifying this piece, Blenko catalog has been used to identify the Blenko glass.
