Description
A set of 2 19th-Century French faience cheese molds, or moule a fromage. They are from Provence and are evocative of a traditional country French farmhouse. They are utilitarian as well as decorative and these strainers would have been lined with cheesecloth in the process of making artisanal homemade cheese. These lovely collectible pieces can be hung on a wall or displayed in a cabinet.
