Two antique Dutch Royal Makkum Delft blue and white plaques. Image is of a fishing boat in the canal and two men fishing in the same canal. Plaques are shaped elliptical form with raised edge. On the rear has printed Holland and the hallmark of the Royal Tichelaar Makkum Factory. No hallmark on front. Dates to circa 1900.
Measures 15 1/2" high and 13" wide. The one on the left has a minor chip on side (pictured), otherwise good condition, no marks or cracks; see pictures.
