To know these is to love them. This trio of Massimo Vignelli handkerchief chairs are my favorite outdoor seating picks in our collection. They are beautiful in gray, with that willowy handkerchief style that seems like it is in motion. They are in excellent vintage condition. There is one condition issue. The underside of the chairs needs a protective covering for the screws, which means they should not be stacked or the screws will harm the finish. Please look at the images of the underside of the chairs. The shiny replacement screws must be covered if you want to stack these chairs.
The chairs are comfortable, too.
We bought these at an estate sale, and they were in an atrium and never exposed to the elements, nor were they stacked. Chairs are marked underneath with "K".
