Description
WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK!!!
Absolutely gorgeous, Stunning beautiful early 20th-century Pittsburgh-style table lamp with a six-panel bent slag-glass shade in softly marbled cream and warm caramel tones. The shade is framed by an ornate metal overlay with graceful scrollwork, floral details, and a decorative border along the lower edge.
The substantial dark-patinated metal base features a tall fluted column, classical detailing, and an embossed foot. Two angled brass sockets with individual pull chains allow the light level to be adjusted. When illuminated, the slag glass produces a warm, softly diffused glow that highlights its natural variations.
The lamp has a strong architectural presence without feeling overly formal and would be especially attractive in a library, living room, entryway, or traditional bedroom.
The metal shows expected age-related patina, oxidation, finish wear, and surface marks. The glass displays natural color and texture variations. No maker's label was found, so the lamp is being offered as Pittsburgh-style rather than as a confirmed Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. piece. Please review the photographs closely, as they are part of the condition description.
