Offered is a high quality Vintage Tre Fuochi Venetian Murano Glass Coffee/Tea Set.

This high quality set was handmade in the ancient Venetian tradition. Every piece of this set is lavishly decorated with 24kt gold leaf and enamels which is hand applied, hand blown and hand painted by Venetian artisans in Murano.

This well kept set includes: a teapot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, a milk or creamer jug, and six demitasse/tea cup & saucer sets.

These pieces sit nicely on a beautiful hand crafted etched glass silhouette serving tray. The tray is rectangular in shape and measures approximately 22" by 17 inches and has gold gilt ormolu handles and a twisted glass rope gallery with gold flecks. The mirror is beautifully etched with a romantic courting scene in a garden setting. The mirror is in very nice condition with a minor area of foxing on the bottom left corner. Please see the photo.

This set sat on display for years and was used very little if at all. The tea set pieces are excellent with just a minor bit of rubbing of the gold finish in a few places. There is a very small hard to notice flea bite on the edge of one of the saucers. Again, please see the photo.

The set was purchased in Venice, Italy in the early 1980's, but could have been made earlier than that.
