The dish is made in a charming heart shape, with a decorative beaded edge. The lip of the dish features a finely hand-chased design of flowers and scrolling foliage, against a stippled background. The center of the dish has a monogram of EJD in elegant script. The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling silver 925/1000 fine' and with the maker's mark for Mauser. This piece is in great overall condition. There has been a professional dent removal, which is only visible from the underside of the dish, by turning it over. There are no splits, no breaks, no other dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The dish measures about 8 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches. The dish weighs 275 grams or 9.7 regular ounces. -jm
