These bowls date to around the 1850s-1870s, and are likely Paris porcelain. The bowls are beautifully hand painted and hand gilded, featuring colorful floral sprays and raised foliate designs. The flowers are done in a wide variety of colors and types, all very eye-catching and skillfully painted. This set is in great overall condition. Two bowls have a hairline, but still ring fairly well when tapped. These hairlines can be seen in the 12th and 13th photos. There is some minor surface wear to the gilding of the rims here and there. There are no chips, no other cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. Each bowl is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter. Each bowl is about 1 ½ inches tall at the rim.
