This is a tea kettle produced by the Coppercraft Guild of Taunton, Massachusetts. The vessel features a spun copper body with a rolled bottom rim and a matching copper lid topped with a brass ball finial. It is equipped with a fixed overhead brass handle and a gooseneck brass spout, both of which are secured to the body with rivets and solder. The base of the kettle is stamped with a circular manufacturer mark, which depicts an anvil and crossed hammers surrounded by the text Coppercraft Guild and TAUNTON, MASS. The piece is designed in a colonial revival style. A paper inventory tag remains attached to the handle. 5x6
