This relief-molded and hand-painted glazed earthenware pitcher is a 20th-century version of the 18th-century Fair Hebe design. The pitcher features a bulbous, textured form with a branch-style handle and a flared, scalloped spout. The exterior is decorated in high relief with two figures in period attire: one side shows a man in a black coat and tri-corn hat holding a wine bottle, and the reverse shows a woman in a red and white dress holding a small cup. The figures are surrounded by molded grapevines with green leaves and purple grape clusters on a cream-colored ground. The handle and base are accented with green glaze. The underside is incised with the signature MONA and the date 66. 7 in high.
