This antique Chinese wooden screen is hand painted and gilded with four scenes of courtship and marriage (top) along with four bird vignettes (bottom). Each panel measures 15" wide (60" full extended flat) x 54.5" high x 1.25" deep. Making it the perfect size to be hung flat above a sofa or fireplace, used flat as a queen sized headboard, or sitting upon a deep window sill or table. Please note that we believe these panels were originally architectural or components in a piece of furniture. And were hinged together at a later day. In excellent condition, it shows minor "dings" and marks commensurate with antique age/use. ALL are of no consequence.
